Token Allocation
The total amount of tokens will be made available at launch. There will never be more $BUTTER tokens minted.

As you can see, there is no token allocation for the ButterFinance team.
Instead of holding tokens, stake them and potentially sell them with a negative impact in the token economy, we decided to implement the a fixed % of the ongoing yield returns of the treasury.
This is done to have a continuous income stream for the ButterFinance platform to develop more features, marketing and to cover other ongoing costs.
We believe in the long-term vision and sustainability of ButterFinance. There is no exit strategy for us, therefore we do not need to hold any tokens.
